The only fact that developers like consoles more, is that they have one set of hardware that is the same for everyone. (With the exception that PC hardware is almost always light years ahead in regards of features and power.) Nowadays though, they are virtually the same. The PC was ahead until about a decade ago, since internet gaming was rarely used on consoles. There is no difference between playing on PC or on consoles.
